Cookie Policy
The following Cookie Policy sets out the rules for saving and accessing data on Users’ Devices using the Service for the purpose of providing electronic services by the Service Administrator.
§ 1 Definitions
- Service – an internet service operating at symbol.net.pl
- External Service – internet services of partners, service providers or service recipients of the Administrator
- Administrator – the company “SYMBOL” MULTIBUSINESS ENTERPRISE, operating at the address: ul. Zakładowa 2, Bytkowo 62-090 Rokietnica, with the assigned tax identification number (NIP): 7780159279, with the assigned REGON number: 630171001, providing electronic services via the Service and storing and accessing information on the User’s device
- User – a natural person for whom the Administrator provides services electronically via the Service
- Device – an electronic device along with software through which the User gains access to the Service
- Cookies – text data collected in the form of files placed on the User’s Device
§ 2 Types of Cookies
- Internal Cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the Service’s teleinformation system
- External Cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the teleinformation systems of External Services
- Session Cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the Service during a single session of a given Device. After the session ends, the files are deleted from the User’s Device
- Persistent Cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the Service until they are manually deleted. Files are not automatically deleted after the Device session ends unless the User’s Device configuration is set to delete Cookie files after the Device session ends
§ 3 Security
- Storage and reading mechanisms – The storage and reading mechanisms of Cookies do not allow for the retrieval of any personal data or any confidential information from the User’s Device. The transfer of viruses, Trojan horses, and other worms to the User’s Device is practically impossible
- Internal Cookies – the internal Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the Users’ Devices
- External Cookies – the Administrator is not responsible for the security of Cookie files originating from the Service’s partners. The list of partners is included in the further part of the Cookie Policy
§ 4 Purposes for which Cookies are used
- Improving and facilitating access to the Service – The Administrator may store information about user preferences and settings related to the Service in Cookie files in order to improve, enhance, and accelerate the provision of services within the Service
- Statistical data – The Administrator and External Services use Cookie files to collect and process statistical data such as visit statistics, User Device statistics, or user behavior statistics. These data are collected for the purpose of analyzing and improving the Service
- Serving multimedia services – The Administrator and External Services use Cookie files to serve multimedia services to Users
- Social services – The Administrator and External Services use Cookie files to support social services
§ 5 External Services
The Administrator does not cooperate with external services, and the Service does not place or use any external Cookie files.
§ 6 Possibilities of determining the conditions of storage and access to the User’s Device by the Service
- The User may at any time independently change the settings for saving, deleting, and accessing data of saved Cookie files

- The User may at any time delete all previously saved Cookie files using the tools of the User’s Device through which the User accesses the Service’s services.
§ 7 Service Requirements
- Restricting the saving and access to Cookie files on the User’s Device may cause some functions of the Service to malfunction.
- The Administrator bears no responsibility for malfunctioning features of the Service in the event that the User restricts in any way the ability to save and read Cookie files.
§ 8 Changes to the Cookie Policy
- The Administrator reserves the right to make any changes to this Cookie Policy without the need to inform users.
- Changes made to the Cookie Policy will always be published on this page.
- The introduced changes come into force on the day of the publication of the Cookie Policy.
